Donald Robert Taylor

The woods are a little quieter today.

Donald Robert Taylor, of Biglerville, passed away suddenly at his home on February 21, 2026. He was the husband of Linda (Showers) Taylor.

Donald was deeply rooted in the land, his family, and the greenhouse he helped build from the ground up. Donald had a passion for the forest as well as Deep Creek Lake and was an avid snowmobiler. Donald was fiercely proud of his accomplishments at Taylor’s Greenhouse and the family farm.

Donald is survived by his sons, Kurt (Terra) Taylor and Kent Taylor; grandchildren, Zachary, Sophia, and Andrew. He is survived by his sister, Karen (Craig) Hocker; and brother, Timothy Taylor; Nieces, Kate Saylor and Kelly Hooker; and nephew, Colin Taylor. Donald was predeceased by his parents, D. Owen Taylor and Kathleen (Starner) Taylor.

Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral & Cremation, Ltd., 111 S. Main Street in Bendersville. A social time for sharing and healing will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the Arendtsville Firehall. Funeral services will be held privately.
