Donna K. Bard

Donna K.(Sailhamer) Bard, age 67 of Newburg, died on Saturday, May 29, 2010, at Hershey Medical Center. Donna was born Wednesday, April 21, 1943 in Chambersburg, a daughter of the late J. Melvin (Bud) and Lucy (McVey) Sailhamer. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Church of God in Shippensburg. She is survived by her husband Harold L. Bard whom she married on January 28, 1962. Surviving areher children, sonStephen L. Bard of Arlington, Virginia and daughter, Jill R. Beattie and husband Sam of Newburg;her sister June Clevenger of Shippensburg,and her grandchildren Mitchell and Kaylee Beattie of Newburg. Professional services were handled by Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 51 Asper Dr. Shippensburg. Private graveside services were held on Wednesday, June 2nd at 2:00 PMat Parklawns Memorial Gardens and Mausoleumsin Chambersburg. The ReverendPaul K. Hauk officiated.
