Donna J. Shrader

Donna J. Shrader, age 68 of Shippensburg, went to be with her Lord Sunday, October 12, 2014 at the Chambersburg Hospital. She was born Tuesday, January 15, 1946 in Chambersburg, the child of the late Merle and Julia (Fahnestock) Fahnestock. She was a lay chaplain at the Chambersburg Hospital and also worked in oncology as a lay chaplain. She attended Zion Bible College and was an active member of First Assembly of God in Shippensburg, PA. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, William E. Shrader, Sr., a son, William E. Shrader Jr. of Shippensburg, two daughters, Buffy (wife of Richard) L. Coleman of Fayetteville, Roxann (wife of Sean) M. Gipe of Hagerstown, two grandchildren, Lynsay Gipe and Dustin Gipe, her beloved dog Gracie, and sister Margaret Brindle. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Richard Fahnestock and Ralph Fahnestock, Sr. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 16 at First Assembly of God, 420 Baltimore Road with Pastor Daniel E. Cluck officiating. A viewing will be held Wednesday, October 15 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg and one hour prior to the service at the church.
