Dorene M. Weigle

Dorene M. Weigle, age 83 of Gardners, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Gettysburg Hospital. She was born on Thursday, December 11, 1930, the daughter of the late Roy E.and Ida M. (Howe) Breighner. She worked at the Mt. Holly Dress Factory, Alliance Nursing home and retired from New Cumberland Army Depot. She loved animals and spending time with her family. She always put others before herself. She is survived by three daughters, Dee Thompson of Newburg, Lin (wife of Duane) Wert of Newville, and Cindy Mellott (wife of Brian Grove) of York Springs, ten grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. A graveside gathering will be held Saturday, November 1st at 1:00 PM at the Chestnut Grove Lutheran Church Cemetery, York Springs, PA.
