Doris E. Brough

Doris E. Brough, age 85 of Gettysburg, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Transitions Health Care in Gettysburg. She was born Tuesday, September 13, 1932 in Bendersville, the daughter of the late John E. and Ellen G. (Culp) Brough. Doris graduated from Biglerville High School in 1950. She was formerly employed by G.C. Murphy in Gettysburg for 46 years. After the closing of Murphy's, she worked at the Lincoln Room on the square of Gettysburg. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Bendersville. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Clifford, Robert and Gerald Brough. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Graveside Services will be held Friday, October 5 at 4:00 PM in Greenmount Cemetery in Arendtsville.
