Dorothy M. Mccauslin

Dorothy M. McCauslin, age 93, of York Springs died Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Gettysburg Hospital. She was born Sunday, July 6, 1919 in HuntingdonTownship Adams County, the daughter of the late John and Margaret (Kennedy) Brough. Dorothy graduated from York Springs High School in 1938. She was a homemaker most of her life. She was a member of York Springs United Methodist Church. She was a former Sunday school teacher and assisted in many social functions of her church. She enjoyed cooking, baking and preparing meals for her family. She loved to garden, having many different colors of irises. Her husband Mark E. (Mose) McCauslin passed away in 2005. She is survived by a daughter, Elaine G. and husband Greg Wertz, of York Springs: two sons: Gerald E. and wife Jane McCauslin of York Springs and Frederick D. and wife LouAnn McCauslin of York Spring; two sisters: Mildred Shelley of Dillsburg, Janice Guise of Carlisle; a brother, John Brough, Jr., of Camp Hill; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two infant children and two brothers, Dale and Donald Brough. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, March 4, 2013 at York Springs United Methodist Church, 840 Trolley Road, York Springs with Reverend Bill McNeal officiating. Interment will be in Heidlersburg Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the church on Monday from 10:00 AM until time of services.
