Dorothy A. Toner

Dorothy A. Toner, age 92 of Aspers, passed away Monday, June 27, 2016 at Transitions Health Care in Gettysburg. She was born Friday, February 8, 1924, in Carlisle, the daughter of the late James and Zula (Day) Slusser. Dorothy was a homemaker most of her life. Her husband, Howard L. Toner, passed away in 1978. She is survived by her sister, Irene Mellott of Gettysburg, her brother, Lester Slusser of GA and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Gretna Slusser and three brothers, Glenn, Thurman and Lloyd Slusser. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, July 1, at Dugan Funeral Home, Bendersville with Reverend Derek Wadlington officiating. Interment will be in Bendersville Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Friday from 9:00 AM until time of services.
