Douglas M. Hussey

Douglas M. Hussey, age 72 of Red Lion, passed away peacefully at home with his family on December 9, 2023. He was born on June 25, 1951 in Beverly, MA to the late Melvin F. and Muriel E. (McLeod) Hussey. Doug retired from Osram Sylvania as a dedicated employee after 37 years.

Doug was a former member of the American Legion where he had many friends. He loved landscaping and spending the long summer days in his yard that he had spent the last 28 years perfecting. Doug liked cruising on his Harley or riding in his Jeep. He enjoyed mountain biking and going to the beach which reminded him of his childhood growing up in Massachusetts. He loved watching NASCAR and had many favorite drivers over the years, starting with Mark Martin.

Douglas is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Marcia L. (Bennett) Hussey of Red Lion; daughters, Jana Miller and husband, Matthew of Windsor, PA and Lisa Sanfiorenzo and husband, Ben of Leonardtown, MD; grandchildren, Grayson Clarke, Eleanora Miller, Joseph Sanfiorenzo, Elle Sanfiorenzo, Zoe Sanfiorenzo and a great-grandchild, to be born around New Years. He is also survived by his sister, Lila Landry and her husband, Gary Clarke of Lake Suzy, FL and his loving dog, Bosley.
