Earl G. "Butch" Spangler

Earl G. (Butch) Spangler, Jr., age 56, of Gardners died Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at Holy Spirit Hospital. He was born Sunday, April 11, 1954 in Hanover, a son of the late Earl G. and Doris (Kemper) Spangler, Sr. Earl was employed by Zeigler Bros. in Gardners for 23 years.He loved his cats and driving his golf cart to work and around Gardners. Earl and his wife Rhonda enjoyed camping together in various local campgrounds for the past27 years Earl is survived by his wife Rhonda F. (Kuhn) Spangler to whom he was married for 24 years. He is also survived by a son, Timothy G. Spangler, Gettysburg; a step-son, Christopher M. Spangler, Hanover; two step-daughters: Kari Weaver, Hanover and Amanda Chinnick, Carlisle; sisters: Brenda Bowlin, Hanover and Sonya Alicia, Mansfield; a brother, Greg A. Spangler, Kansas; and five grandchildren: Colin, Lauren, Justin, Marlee, and Dylan. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Bonnie Luckenbaugh and Barbie Spangler. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main St., Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 19 at Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., Bendersville with the Reverend James R. Speelman officiating. Interment will be in Idaville Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of services.
