Earl “Sam” L. Wagaman, age 72, of Fayetteville, passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 30, 2020 surrounded by his family at his residence in Fayetteville. He was born October 5, 1948 in Waynesboro, PA, the son of the late Earl A. and Sylvia J. (Bricker) Wagaman. Sam graduated in the Class of 1969 from Chambersburg High School. He went on to proudly serve in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from Mack Truck after working as a machinist for well over 30 years. He was a member of Pond Bank Community Church in Pond Bank. In his spare time, Sam enjoyed fishing, hunting, motorcycling, gardening, cooking, traveling, and most importantly, spending time with his grandchildren and family. Earl is survived by his daughter, Heidi J. and her husband Calvin, Jr., Farrar of Waynesboro; two sisters, Dolly Sentz and Janice and her husband Richard Sleichter, both of Florida; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, January 5 at Dugan funeral Home and Crematory, 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg with Pastor Jeremy Lehman officiating. A Viewing will be held from 4:00 PM until time of services. A Graveside Service will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, January 7 in Parklawns Memorial Gardens in Chambersburg.
