Earl J. Taylor, age 65, of Aspers passed away Monday, July 13, 2015 at his home. He was born Friday, January 20, 1950 in Menallen Township, Adams County, the son of the late Ralph E. and Sarah C. (Black) Taylor. Earl graduated from Biglerville High School in 1968. He had worked in construction for 44 years, the last 2 years at York Excavating Company. He was a member of Wenksville United Methodist Church, CA Hunting Camp, Bear Track Hunting Camp, Shoshoshean Gun Club and Sinnamahoning Sportsman's Club. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Deborah L. (Thomas) Taylor. He is also survived by a daughter, Jayme and husband Bryan Thoman of Hanover, a son, Matthew and wife Amanda Taylor of Aspers, granddaughter, Ryleigh Thoman, grandsons, Wyatt and Tyson Taylor and Bradyn Thoman; four sisters: Marvel Butler, Mary Lou and husband Melvin Shultz, Ruth and husband Eddie Brandt, all of Aspers, Linda and husband William McCleaf of Biglerville; seven brothers: Eugene (Ben) and wife Jenny Taylor of Chambersburg, Freddy Taylor of Phoenix, AZ, Jesse and wife Carolyn Taylor of Aspers, Roger Taylor of Aspers, Clyde and wife Suzie Taylor of Bendersville, David and wife Donna Taylor of Aspers, and Guy Taylor and companion Barb King of Aspers. He was preceded in death by his brother Randy Taylor. Cremation services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. At Earl's request, there will be no public services. Memorial contributions may be made to one's choice of youth sports programs within your community.
