Edward “Jerry” J. Bigler, age 76, of Chambersburg, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021 peacefully at his home. He was born March 10, 1945 in Chambersburg, the son of the late Ellis J. and Mildred J. (Brake) Bigler. Jerry graduated in the Class of 1963 from Chambersburg High School. He proudly served as a Sharpshooter for three years in the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1966. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Victoria L. (Taylor) Bigler of Chambersburg; two sons, Jeffrey (Dee) Bigler of Saint Thomas, and Terry Bigler of Chambersburg; two step-daughters, Louann (Tom) Fuller, and Veronica (Phillip) Everts of Chambersburg; one step-son, John Laubs of Chambersburg; one brother, Joseph Bigler of PA; three grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; two nieces; and one nephew. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Bonnie Short. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
