Edward E. Group

Edward E. Group, age 82, of Shippensburg, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Chambersburg Hospital. He was born Monday, May 29, 1939 in Carlisle, the son of the late Harry F. and Emma (Bear) Group. Ed was formerly employed by Bri-Mar Manufacturing for 12 years. He enjoyed fishing and going to car shows. He was a huge baseball fan and cheered for the Washington Nationals. His wife, Ethel J. (Swope) Group passed in 2015. He is survived by two sons; Brian Group and fiancé Leilani Group of Shippensburg, Rick and wife Jan Group of Shippensburg, 6 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy L. Group and son, Troy A. Group, three sisters; Emma Jane Wagner, Carol Rankin and Betty Olsen Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg. Services will be held at the discretion of the family.
