Edwin Frank Housekeeper, Jr.

Edwin Frank Housekeeper, Jr., age 70 of Honey Grove, passed away March 4, 2025 at home. He was born November 18, 1954 in Lancaster to the late E. Frank and Virginia (Kennedy) Housekeeper.

Edwin was a United States Marine Corps Veteran. He was a foreman for Rickenbaugh Building Supply and also worked for Poole’s Building Supply. He was a member of the Union Lodge No. 324 F&AM, Mifflintown, PA and the Vietnam Vets Motorcycle Club. Edwin enjoyed hunting, building things and was a Baltimore Orioles fan, but most of all, loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Susan (Shoemaker) Housekeeper; daughters, Dora Housekeeper of Carlisle, Rebecca Zimmerman and husband, Shaun of Shippensburg and Emily Housekeeper and significant other, Levi Hess of Shippensburg; son, Edwin Frank Housekeeper, III of Honey Grove; granddaughters, Autumn and Keara; sister, Anna Housekeeper of Honey Grove and numerous nieces and nephews. Edwin was preceded in death by his sisters, Jane Taylor and Nancy Brotzman.

Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg. At Edwin’s request, there will be no viewing. He will be laid to rest at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with military honors.
