Eileen I. Arndt

Eileen I. Arndt, age 87 of Aspers, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Transitions Health Care. She was born Friday, October 4, 1929 in California, PA the daughter of the late Mike and Icabelle (Bougr) Bullock. Eileen was formerly employed by Gardner's Market for close to 35 years. She loved to play bingo, feed the birds at her home and gardening. She enjoyed going to casinos and playing the slots. She will be greatly missed by her many friends at the Gardners Market. She especially enjoyed the time with her great-grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Herbert M. Arndt. She is also survived by a daughter, Debbie L. and husband Fred Ransom of Crownsville, MD, a son, Keith E. Arndt of Harrisburg, two grandchildren, Sherri and husband Phil Lazas of Silver Spring, MD and Chris Ransom and special lady Kellie Grimes of Sykesville, MD, three great-grandchildren, Madison, Carly and Connor. She was preceded in death by her son Martin Arndt. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc. A Celebration of Eileen's Life will be held at 7:00 PM Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Dugan Funeral Home, 111 South Main Street, Bendersville with Reverend Derek Wadlington officiating.
