Eleanor Stayer Tewalt, age 78 of Chambersburg, passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at her home. She was born Wednesday, November 20, 1940 in Reading, the daughter of the late Frank Irvin Stayer and Jean Elizabeth (Fulton). Before her retirement, Eleanor worked as a private caregiver for families in California. In her spare time, Eleanor enjoying crafting, making bracelets and jewelry, sewing and knitting. She enjoyed taking care of farm animals with her children when they were young. She is survived by her loving two daughters, Sarah A. Bunker and her husband, George, II, of Chambersburg and Eliesha Davis and her husband, Mark of Boulevard, CA; her loving two sons, Abra Hamm and his wife, Gloria Hamm of Lihue, Kauai Island in Hawaii and Ammon Hamm of Chambersburg; seven grandsons; a sister, Ginger Tafel of Cincinnati, OH and several extended family. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Lee Hamm and second husband, Parley Dale Tewalt. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg.
