Elizabeth A. Bergey

Elizabeth A. Bergey, age 50 of Biglerville, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Gettysburg Hospital. She was born Monday, June 27, 1966 in Gettysburg, the daughter of the late Guy A. and Mary L. (Singley) Beamer. Liz graduated from Gettysburg High School. She was employed by Giant Foods in Gettysburg for 2 years. She had formerly worked at Gillies Bowling Lanes in Biglerville for about four years. She also had worked for Upper Adams School District. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Charles H. Bergey, Sr. She is also survived by her son, Charles H. and wife Kayla Bergey, Jr. of Bendersville, grandson, Kellin J. Siebor of Bendersville, two sisters, Susan Beamer of Aspers, Tammy Shingledecker of Biglerville, four brothers, William Beamer of Biglerville, Robert Beamer of Arendtsville, Guy "Butch" Beamer, Jr. of Fairfield, and Richard Beamer of Gettysburg, brother and sister-in-law Robert A. and wife Peggy Bergey, Jr. of Biglerville. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral services will be held at 7:30 PM Thursday, June 22 at Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., Bendersville with Reverend Linda Summers officiating. A viewing will be held on Thursday from 6:00 to 7:30PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., P.O. Box 393, Bendersville, PA 17307 to assist the family with funeral expenses.
