Elizabeth J. Hays

Elizabeth J. Hays, age 92, formerly of Wenksville, fell asleep in death, Monday, April 21, 2014. She was born Wednesday, September 7, 1921 in Chester, PA, the daughter of the late John and Anna (Krivda) Bosak. She dedicated many years of her life to the family business Piney Apple Golf Course. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, L. Walter Hays, Jr. She is also survived by her children, Walt Hays III, Doug Hays, Peg Buch, David Hays and Betsy Rinehart, fifteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and a brother, Joseph Bosak. She was preceded in death by her sister, Amelia Ogden and brother, John Bosak. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
