Erma "Mimi" I. Weigel

Erma I. (Weidner) Weigel, age 93 of Gardners, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Transitions Health Care in Gettysburg. She was born Monday, December 12, 1921 in Huntington Township, Adams County, the daughter of the late Raymond C. and Nerva M. (Frost) Weidner. Erma was a homemaker raising her four daughters. She was a member of Chestnut Grove Lutheran Church. She had attended Idaville United Brethren Church for the past 11 years. Her husband, Glenn E. Weigel passed away in September of 1999. She is survived by four daughters, Nancy L. and husband Dean Tate of Gardners, D. Marie Myers of Carlisle, Patricia I. Day of Carlisle and Sandy K. and husband Douglas Gensler of Boiling Springs; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Teresa M. Addington; one sister and two brothers. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 14 at Idaville United Brethren Church, 3610 Carlisle Road, Gardners with Reverend Stuart Johns officiating. Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until time of services.
