Ethel M. Cover

Mrs. Ethel M. Cover, age 85, Bendersville died Friday, February 25, 2011 at Village of Laurel Run. Ethel was born Friday, December 4, 1925 in Brushtown, the daughter of the late Milton and Mary K. (Krichten) Neiderer . She was formerly employed by Mt. Orchard Co-op, Duffy Motts and Melvin Bean Orchards for manyyears. She was a member ofSaint Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Gettysburg. She is survived by her husband James E. Cover to whom she was married for 65 years. She is also survived by sons: Richard P. Cover, Bendersville and JamesE. Cover, Jr., Bendersville, and a brother, Richard Neiderer of Brushtown. She was preceded in death by sisters Clyde Meckley and Madeline Klunk and eight brothers: Clifford, Nester, Merle, Joseph Clair, Burnell, Edward, Ray, and Fred. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday, March 2, at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 22 West High Street, Gettysburg with the Reverend Father Bernardo Pistone officiating. Interment will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Gettysburg. A viewing will be held at Dugan Funeral Home, Bendersville on Tuesday, March 1, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Rosary prayers will be prayed at 8:00 PM.
