Eugene C. Mccauslin

Eugene C. "PeeWee" McCauslin, age 83 of Biglerville, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at his home. He was born Thursday, September 5, 1935 in Menallen Township, Adams County, the son of the late William M. and Martha I. (Black) McCauslin. PeeWee was formerly employed by Duffy Motts, now Cadbury Beverages, for 50+ years. He received the Iron Man Award from Cadbury for his work ethic and longevity. He was a Menallen Twp. Supervisor for two terms. He also worked part-time at the former Rice Auto Sales in Bendersville. He was a member of Bendersville United Methodist Church, and Buchanan Valley Rod and Gun Club and a life-member of Shoshonean Gun Club. He was the last surviving founding member of Gypsy Springs Hunting Camp. PeeWee enjoyed going to auctions and dealing in merchandise, which he did from his home. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. PeeWee enjoyed being outdoors. PeeWee was a car enthusiast. His wife, Betty J. (Orner) McCauslin passed in 1990. He is survived by his companion Doris K. Thomas of Biglerville. He is also survived by three daughters, Constance A. and husband Michael Haas of Wrightsville, Melany S. and husband Peter Rios of Millerstown, Susan E. Schatz of Coatesville, his son, Rick and wife Deb McCauslin, of Gettysburg, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two brothers, Glenn and Marlene, both of Biglerville, and two sisters Cindy VanArsdale of Gardners and Rosie Hartman of Biglerville. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, January 19 at Dugan Funeral Home with Pastor Todd McCauslin officiating. Interment will be in Wenksville Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Saturday from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, P.O.
