Evelyn M. Cline

Evelyn M. Cline, age 78, formerly of Gardners died Monday, December 24, 2012 at Village of Laurel Run in Fayetteville. She was born Monday, March 26, 1934 in Kennedy's Valley, Perry County, the daughter of the late Charles and Mabel (Dahr) Smith. She graduated from Green Park Union High School in Perry County. Evelyn was formerly employed by Wayne Noss Flowers in Boiling Springs for many years and had also worked at McCoy Crystals in Mt. Holly. She was a member of Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church. Evelyn especially loved her flowers and gardening and Nascar racing. Her husband, Richard L. Cline to whom she was married for 56 years died November 8, 2012. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia D. Moore of Bendersville and her son, Jeffrey L. Cline of York; a sister, Lydia Sheaffer of Shermans Dale, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers: John, Paul and George Smith. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 28 at Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church, 1299 Gablers Road, Gardners with Reverend John Estes and Reverend Ken Reid officiating.
