Fannie M. Jackson, age 64 of Gettysburg, died Monday, December 31, 2012 at her home. She was born Monday, March 22, 1948 in Everglades City, FL, the daughter of the late Bo and Jimmie L. (Murph) Jackson. Fannie graduated from May High School in Gould, FL. She was employed by Bell Telephone as an operator for many years.She was a member of Amos Tabernacle Church of God in Christ in Gettysburg. She is survived by three daughters: FayannaCharlton Parker ofGermantown, MD, Mitzi Charlton of Daytona Beach, FL and Deidre R. Shelley of New Castle, DE; four grandchildren; two sisters: Nettie Mae Blue of Miami, FL and Mattie Mae Turner of Gardners; and two brothers: Sammy Lee Jackson and Willie Frank William of both Miami. She was preceded in death by one brother, Felder William. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 4 at 2:00 PM at Amos Tabernacle Church of God in Christ, 2425 Mummasburg Road, Gettysburg with Reverend Dave Roberts officiating.Interment will be in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family requests donations be made the Dugan Funeral Home Inc. P.O. Box 393, Bendersville, PA 17306 to assist the family with funeral expenses.
