Fernando Salazar Carranza

Fernando Salazar Carranza, age 36 of Bendersville, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018. He was born Thursday, August 19, 1982 in La Piedad, Mexico the son of Maria Reyna Carranza Herrera of Tamaulipas, Mexico and the late Tomas Salazar Arias Fernando was formerly employed by Kime's Cider Mill in Bendersville. He was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Claudia Arredondo Ponce of Bendersville, children Fernando Salazar Arredondo, age 8, Katia Salazar Arredondo, age 5, Leonardo Salazar Arredondo, age 4, and Esmeralda Salazar Arredondo, 6 months, brothers Alejandro, Fermin, and Eduardo, sisters, Elizabeth Silvia and Rubi Milagros and nephews, Eduardo and Brandon. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 noon, Friday, September 14 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 22 West High Street, Gettysburg. A viewing will be held Thursday, September 13 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Dugan Funeral Home, 111 S. Main Street, Bendersville. Interment will be in Mexico.
