Frances A. Royer, age 72 of Gettysburg, went to meet with her Lord Saturday, July 23, 2016 at York Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was born Sunday, January 9, 1944 in Williamsport the daughter of the late Sherman Q. Jr. and Mildred (Webb) Stutzman. Fran graduated from West Snyder High School in 1962. She was formerly employed by CVS, formerly Wogans and Rite Aid Drug Store in Gettysburg. She was a member of Fairfield Mennonite Church. She loved to go to yard sales, shopping, volunteering and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her partner of 24 years, Brenda R. Walter. She is also survived by one daughter, Jodi L. Royer and companion Odell Brown of Lewistown, two sons, Glenn R. Royer, Jr., and wife Shelly of Mifflintown, Matthew Q. Royer of Mifflintown, step daughter Amy Walter-Gebhart and husband Darv Gebhart of Hanover, seven grandchildren Kali Harper, Bree Royer, Jessica Royer, Quinn Royer, Madison Royer, Gannon Brown and Sarah Royer. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Shirley S. Stutzman, Sandra Jean Stutzman-Haines and three brothers, Wayne Stutzman, Donald L. Stutzman and Sherman Q. Stutzman, III. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. A visitation and Celebration of Life will begin at 1:00 PM Friday, July 29 at Fairfield Mennonite Church, 201 W. Main Street, Fairfield with Pastor Brenda Walter officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Fairfield Food Pantry c/o Fairfield Mennonite Church 201 W. Main Street, Fairfield, PA 17320 and Adams Co. SPCA, 11 Goldenville Road, Gettysburg, PA. 17325.
