Frank I. (Jiggs) Hock, age 93 of Shippensburg, passed away on January 28, 2014. He was one of seven children of Rankin and Anna Henderson Hock, born April 30, 1920 in Shippensburg and raised there. He served in the United States Army December 3, 1942 until September 17, 1943 when he received an honorable discharge. He worked as a presser at the Pants Factory, known as Franklin Clothing Factory until he retired. He was a life time member of the American Legion Post 223 and he was a member of the VFW Post 6168 and Hub City Club. His wife, Dorothy P. Hock preceded him in death on September 2, 2001. Preceding him in death are one sister, Grace Leedy and four brothers, Walter, Lester, Kenneth and Bruce. Surviving Frank are his daughter, Patsy Coy Kalb, (husband Ray) of Lady Lake, FL and Ray's son, Brian (wife Ingrid) of Newburg; grandchildren, Pamela Perry (companion Greg and his son, Shain) of Walnut Bottom, Toby Coy of Shippensburg, great-grandchildren, Kasey Perry and Courtney Coy, step-grandchildren, Tyler and Colby Coy and Max and Garrett Kalb. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1 at 1:00 PM at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg. Pastor James Bolich will officiate. Visitation is one hour before services. In lieu of flowers please make your memorials to The Episcopal Home, 206 E. Burd Street, Shippensburg, PA 17257.
