Franklin Curtis Montgomery Ridley, age 65, passed away April 25, 2026.
He was born August 22, 1960, in Harrisburg, PA.
He worked 30+ years in the Electrical trade in service and as a bucket truck operator.
Before losing his life to cancer, he was a respected employee of Rogers Electric out of Alpharetta, GA. He loved the work he did.
He is preceded in death by his father, Frank L. Ridley, his mother, Bonnie J. (Montgomery) Ridley both resting eternally at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Also preceded in death by his half-brother Frank Jr. and two half-sisters Jane and Cathy.
He is survived by his wife, Linda K. (Basom) Ridley, brother Davide C. and three sisters Kathryn R., Dolly Jean, Darlene G. as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Frank was happily married for 33 years and enjoyed fishing with his wife.
He was known for his love of music, lively debates on a variety of subjects, photography of fungi/mushrooms and using his computer to edit videos as well as using excel to analyze data.
His biggest regret in the end was not to retire early in order to travel with his wife to explore the natural wonders of the Southwest.
His favorite beer was Troegs Troegenator double bock and his favorite liquor was Glenfiddich scotch.
Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral & Cremation, Ltd., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg. At this time, services will be held at the discretion of the family.
