Fred "Cot" M. Warren

Fred M. 'Cot' Warren, age 91 of Biglerville, passed away Monday, March 6, 2017 at his home. He was born Saturday, December 10, 1925 in Menallen Twp., Adams Co. the son of the late Clayton and Edna (Kane) Warren. Cot was formerly employed by Bud Miller John Deere as a mechanic for many years. He worked on the road crew for Menallen Twp. for many years. He was a member of South Mountain Antique Engine Association. Cot was very mechanical and could repair just about anything. He enjoyed working on John Deere tractors and refurbishing them for others. His wife of 57 years, Phyllis Warren, passed away in 2010. Cot was the last of his immediate family. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by ten sisters and two brothers. He was cared for in the past several years by his nephew Bobby and wife Joyce Warren. He had a great long time relationship with his neighbors Ron and Mary Myers and especially their son Clayton "Buddy" Myers. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, March 10, 2017 at Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 S. Main Street, Bendersville with Reverend Rick Robinson officiating. Interment will be in Wenksville Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 9:00 AM until time of services.
