Fred K. Snyder

Fred K. Snyder, age 83 of Biglerville, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the Gettysburg Hospital. He was born Monday, September 29, 1930 in Butler Township, the son of the late Elmer A. and Lily May (Allison) Snyder. Fred was employed by Hull's Electric in Gettysburg for 36 years. He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Biglerville and the Upper Adams Lions Club. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mildred (Ford) Snyder. He is also survived by his son, Larry E. (husband of Deborah) Snyder; two grandsons, Scott (husband of Michelle) Snyder and Lance (husband of Anna) Snyder and six great-grandchildren, Dylan, Breelyn, Evan, Sean, McKenna and Emri. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 23 at 11:00 AM at Trinity United Church of Christ, 300 East York Street, Biglerville. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 22from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Dugan Funeral Home. Pastor Linda Summers will officiate. Interment will be in Flohr's Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity UCC, 300 East York Street, Biglerville, PA 17307.
