Freda H. Myers

Freda H. Myers, age 92, of Shippensburg, passed away November 20, 2023 at home. She was born January 26, 1931 in Shippensburg to the late John and Nellie (Holtry) Heckman. Freda was widowed by her husband, Robert L. Myers, Sr. Freda was a seamstress and worked for Carlisle Borough as a draftsman. She was a life member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by her children, Jacquelee “Jackie” Mower and husband, John; Robert L. Myers, Jr. and wife, Megan; Larry Myers and wife, Gloria; Madea “Dee” Bauserman and husband, George, all of Shippensburg and Curtis Myers and wife, Barb of Newburg; 17 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Freda was preceded in death by her son, Steven Myers; daughter, Tracey McCorkel and siblings, Ray, Alma, Charles, Berneda and Andy.

Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg. A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
