Frederick L. Whaley, Jr.

Frederick Levi Whaley, Jr., age 89 of South Mountain, died Thursday, April 4, 2013 at South Mountain Restoration Center, South Mountain. He was born Friday, August 3, 1923 in Norfolk, the child of the late Fred Whaley, Sr. and Sallie Anthony. Frederick served in the U.S. Army. He worked as a delivery truck driver and then for the city of Philadelphia. He is survived by two daughters: Sherry Whaley, Long Island, NY and Morrise Whaley, Spartanburg, SC and three sons: Freddy Whaley, Queens, NY, Levi Whaley, Philadelphia and Ronald Whaley, Queens. He was preceded in death by daughters: Shirley Whaley and Constance Whaley. Cremationservices are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg.
