Gary L. Englebert

Gary L. Englebert, age 59, Biglerville went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at the Gettysburg Hospital. Gary was born Monday, April 09, 1951 in Hanover the son of Mary I. (Plank) Englebert and the late Huber W. Englebert. Gary graduated from Biglerville High School in 1969. He received his B.S. in Mathematics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Before his retirement, he was employed by Mechanicsburg Naval Depot for 33 years. He was a member of Jireh Independent Baptist Church in Biglerville. He is survived by his wife Sharon E. (Folmar) Englebert to whom he was married for 37 years. He is also survived by two sons, Dominic M. and wife Katie Englebert, Biglerville, and Luke A. and wife Carrie Englebert, Biglerville; three grandchildren: Brandon M. Englebert, Catherine E. Englebert, and Kiersten G. Englebert, all of Biglerville; and a sister, Bonita Lee Smith, Cape Canaveral, FL. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 27 at Jireh Independent Baptist Church, 3086 Biglerville Road, Biglerville with the Reverend Gregg Keckler officiating. Interment will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens in Gettysburg. A viewing will be held Monday, April 26 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville.
