Gary R. Wagaman

Gary R. Wagaman, age 82 of Biglerville, passed peacefully into God's Hands, at his home with his wife by his side, on Tuesday, May 14, 2019. He was born Tuesday, August 11, 1936 in Menallen Twp., Adams Co., the son of the late Frank R. and Tillie (Warren) Wagaman. Gary graduated from Biglerville High School in 1955. He was a partner of O.C. Rice and Son in Biglerville, where he sold farm equipment for 42 years. He had also worked at the Biglerville Garage. Gary retired in December of 2011. He was a member of Heidlersburg United Brethren in Christ Church, Good Samaritan Lodge 336 Free and Accepted Masons of Gettysburg, Good Samaritan Royal Arch #336, Central PA Scottish Rite, and Adams Co Shrine Club. He was also a life member of the Biglerville Fire Company. Gary's hobbies included fishing, hunting, and mowing the lawn. In his younger years, he and Phyllis enjoyed traveling all over the United States. Spending time with his grandchildren was one of his greatest joys. He served in the US Army from March to November of 1957. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Phyllis T. (Trimmer) Wagaman. He is also survived by one daughter, Linda N. Wagaman of Biglerville, three grandsons, Zach Lebo of Biglerville, Chase Lebo of Boca Raton, FL, Seth Lebo of Biglerville, two brothers, Roger L. and wife Vickie Wagaman of York Springs, Randy F .and wife Sue Wagaman of Aspers, sister-in-law, Janet Wagaman of Bendersville and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ken E.W. Wagaman. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 20, at Heidlersburg United Brethren in Christ Church, 2736 Heidlersburg Road, Gettysburg with Reverend Craig Loewen officiating. Interment will be in Biglerville Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Monday from 9:00 AM until time of services. Good Samaritan Lodge 336 Free and Accepted Masons of Gettysburg will provide Masonic Services at the graveside. Veteran's services will be provided by Adams County Allied Veterans. Memorial contributions may be made to Heidlersburg United Brethren in Christ Church, 2736 Heidlersburg Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325 or Biglerville Fire Company, PO Box 391, Biglerville, PA 17307.
