Gayle L. Myers-Elder

Gayle L. Myers-Elder, age 68, of Shippensburg, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Carlisle. She was born Thursday, April 7, 1949 in Camp Hill, a child of the late Orville and Beatrice (Norris) Myers. Gayle was an avid reader and loved receiving guests and friends. She touched many lives with friendship and warm conversation. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and adored her cats. She is survived by her son, Heath H. Myers (Lisa) of Shippensburg, grandchildren, Quincey Myers, Andrew and Olivia Elder, sister, Sara Kugler of West Fairview, and sister in law, Carolyn Myers of Enola. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Elder and brother, Harry Norris Myers. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc.. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg with Pastor Rodney Gatling officiating. A viewing will be held from 1:00 PM until time of services.
