George A. Dietrich

George A. Dietrich, age 70, of Shippensburg, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Chambersburg Hospital. He was born Saturday, June 23, 1945 in Harrisburg, the son of the late Albert and Mary (Baer)Dietrich. George was formerly employed by Coles Well Drilling in Harrisburg. He was a member of South Mountain Chapel Brethren in Christ Church in Shippensburg. George enjoyed salt water fishing off the Maryland and Virginia coast. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Nancy (Helm) Dietrich. He is also survived by two daughters: Deborah Ott of Shippensburg, Wanda Kettoman of Greencastle; four sons: William Dietrich of Hershey, Rick Dietrich of Shippensburg, Walter Bowermaster of Shippensburg, Kevin Bowermaster of Roxbury; 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; four brothers: Butch Dietrich, Tom Dietrich, Bill Dietrich and Bob Dietrich, all of Harrisburg; and a sister, Dorothy Dietrichof New Kingstown. He was preceded in death by his sister Kathryn. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Memorial services will be held 10:30 AM, Saturday, September 26 at South Mountain Chapel Brethren in Christ Church, 11 Chestnut Grove Road, Shippensburg with Reverend David Erisman officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
