George M. Coble, Jr., age 74 of Spring Run, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at home. He was born Thursday, July 9, 1942 in Chambersburg the son of the late George M. and Louella (Barnhart) Coble, Sr. and step-mother Elizabeth F. Coble. He was a laborer for Barnhart Trucking and Waste Management, and during his early years he was a farmer. He was a former member of Grace Baptist Church, Waynesboro and was attending Spring Run Bible Church. He enjoyed hunting, yard work and spending time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Shirley (Stred) Coble. He is also survived by a daughter Betsy (Robert) Nicklas of Chambersburg and son, George (Shawna) Coble, III of Spring Run, step-sons, Wayne (Natasha) Kibbe of Bondsville, MA, Brian Kibbe of Russell, MA, Todd (Samantha) Kibbe of Cumberland, RI, Jason (Melissa) Kibbe of Orrstown, grandchildren; Yuriy, Cathy, Kelsey, Jimmy, Erica, Hilary, Alicia, Joel, Alexandra, Jocelyn, Bryce, Anthony, Rachael, Thomas, Quehanna and Quaylee, four great-grandchildren and three sisters, Nancy (Howard) Barnhart, Anne Tanner, and Lorraine (Richard) Yeager all of Chambersburg. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Miriam and Jane. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 18 at Amberson United Methodist Church, 18889 Amberson Road, Spring Run, PA with Pastor Phil Foster, Pastor Ryan Henderson and Pastor John Semple officiating. Interment will be in Coble Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM until time of services.
