George H. Porter

George H. Porter, 64 of Aspers, died Thursday, April 12, 2012 surrounded by his loving family at his home in Aspers. He was born Tuesday, July 15, 1947 in York, the child of the lateEdward W. and Beartrice (Sweitzer) Porter. He was employed as the Business Manager of Laborers Union Local 1167 for York, Adams and Lancaster Counties. He is survived by his devoted wife, Shirley L. (Chapel) Porter. He is also survived by a step-son, Corey Wood of Elizabethtown; two sisters: Midge Beck of Dover and Nancy Miller of Shermans Dale; and two brothers: Michael Porter of East Berlin and Edward Porter of Biglerville. Cremation services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg.
