George A. Wisor, Jr.

George “Bo” Albert Wisor, Jr., age 76, of Chambersburg, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Chambersburg Hospital. He was born August 13, 1944 in Clearfield, PA, the son of the late George A. Wisor, Sr. and Esther “Virginia” (Litten) Wisor. After high school, George served in the Army Reserves. He then went on and worked at Clearfield Cheese Company as a Maintenance Supervisor. He retired from Chambersburg Waste Paper Company, Inc. as Plant Manager after working over 25 years. In his spare time, George enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren. George is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Jo Ann (Adams) Wisor of Chambersburg; his four children, Mark Wisor of WA, Stephen Wisor and his wife, Mae of WA, Shane Wisor of Chambersburg and Krystal Shearer and her husband, Zachary of Orrstown; two special granddaughters, whom he and Jo Ann helped raise, Taylor Everson and Shannia Robertson; seven other grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Pat Doran of NC. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Wisor and sister, Mary Ann Jones. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Memorial Services are at the discretion of the family.
