Geraldine E. Woodward

Geraldine E. Woodward, age 85 of Orrtanna, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Gettysburg Center. She was born Sunday, August 27, 1933 in Gettysburg the daughter of the late George and Edith (Bragunier) Moritz. Geraldine graduated from Gettysburg High School in 1951. She was formerly employed by C.H. Musselman's Co-op and Knouse Foods for many years. She attended Mt. Top Ministries and Memorial Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, wife and friend. But most all, she was a servant to the Lord. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Glenn R. Woodward Sr. She is also survived by two daughters Glenda and husband Austin Miller of Biglerville, Deborah and husband Philip Sanders of Orrtanna, three sons, Glenn R. Woodward, Jr. of Orrtanna, Duane and wife Leah Woodward of Fairfield, George Woodward of Seven Valleys, five grandchildren, four sisters, Doris Guthsmuth of Hadden Heights, NJ, Shirley Copenhaver of Brimfield, OH, Sarah Seaman and Betty Pennsinger both of Mechanicsburg and one brother, Ken Moritz of Biglerville. She was preceded in death by sister, Blanche Nye and brother, Charles Moritz. Professional services were entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Graveside services were held in Biglerville Cemetery.
