Gertrude E. Goodhart

Gertrude Goodhart, age 96 of Walnut Bottom, passed away at her home on Wednesday, December 3, 2014. Born September 2, 1918 in Mt. Rock, PA, she was the daughter of Robert and Mary Heckman Nesbitt. The widow of Cecil Goodhart, who died December 12, 2000, she was a lifelong member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughters, Sally Ray, Jenny Gonzalez (Izzy), and Molly Szymanski(Ted), six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Jack Ray, as well as a sister and brother. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. Services will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church in Walnut Bottom with Reverend Harold A. Bolyard, Jr., officiating. Visitation with the family will begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 6th, followed by the service at 11:00 AM with graveside services immediately after. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 217, Walnut Bottom, PA 17266.
