Gladys N. Estrada

Gladys N. Estrada, age 54, of Bendersville died Monday, January 17, 2011 at Genesis Care Center in Gettysburg. She was born Sunday, July 29, 1956 in Brooksville, FL, the daughter of Hazel (Speelman) Ramos of Biglerville and the late Juan Ramos. Gladys graduated from Biglerville High School in 1975. She retired from Knouse Foods. She is survived by her husband Remigio Estrada to whom she was married for 12 years. In addition to her mother,Gladys is also survived by her son, AnthonyFranco of Bendersville, grandson Zachery Pelc; seven sisters: Jenny Lua of Arendtsville, Betty Perry of Gardners, Linda Bolin of Lancaster, Sylvia Garcia of Bendersville, Carmen Ramos of Biglerville, Helen Estrada of Biglerville and Lydia Martin of Lancaster; and two brothers, Fred Ramos of Gardners and Jimmy Ramos of Gardners. She was preceded in death by her son, Franciso Franco, two brothers, John and Jerry Ramos and a sister, Brenda Renoll. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Private services will be held at the discretion of the family.
