Glenda J. Branthafer

Glenda J. Branthafer, age 74, of Orrstown, passed away Friday, June 17, 2022 at Chambersburg Hospital. She was born Tuesday, July 29, 1947 in Carlisle, the daughter of the late Glen R. and Janet L. (Souders) Horn, Sr. Glenda graduated from Big Spring High School. She was formerly employed by Newville Shoe Factory for 24 years. She then started, along with Don, D&G Painting in Orrstown. She was a member of Minnequa Club. She loved listening to Elvis, going to flea markets, feeding the birds, going to casinos and playing the slots, and wearing flip flops. She was well known for her peanut butter fudge, sugar cookies and potato candy which she gave to many people. She always wore a bow or a flower in her hair. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Donald L. Yohe, two daughters, Melinda A. Thorson and companion Timothy Hamilton, Newville, Janet L. and husband James Fittry, Hustontown, one son, Floyd E. Branthafer, Jr. and wife Kandi, Chambersburg, paternal children, Jeffrey (Amanda) Martin, Shippensburg, Kevin (Mandy) Yohe, Shippensburg, Jason Yohe and companion Sherry Shives, Chambersburg. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great - grandchildren, sisters, Janette Washington, Carlisle, Patsy Martin, Chambersburg, and brother, Glen Horn, Jr. (Florence), Shippensburg. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Viewing will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, June 24, 2022 at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg. Private interment will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle at the family’s discretion.
