Glenn G. Clever

Glenn G. Clever, age 88 of Orrstown, died Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at Manor Care Nursing and Rehabilitation in Chambersburg. He was born Sunday, August 3, 1924 in Mercersburg, the son of the late Ernest and Martha (Wells) Clever. Glenn was formerly employed by Letterkenny Army Depot for many years. He was a life member of the VFW in Shippensburg, Moose Lodge in Chambersburg, Minnequa, Hub City and Path Valley Stag Club. His wife, Betty J. (Shoop) Clever died October 13, 1985. He is survived by two sons: Rodney Clever of Shippensburg and Tracy Clever of Lurgan; one sister, Martha Wright of Chambersburg; one brother, Roy (Pete) Clever of Thurmont, MD; and grandchildren: Kady Wright and husband Wayne, Josh Clever and Kyle Clever and wife Barbara. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Clever. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 PM Monday, January 7, at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Shippensburg. Interment will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held on Monday from 12:30 PM until time of services.
