Gloria J. Eckenrode

Gloria J. Eckenrode, age 70, formerly of York Haven, died Sunday, September 1, 2013 at the home of friends in Martinsburg, WV. She was born Sunday, May 30, 1943 in Chester, the child of the late Leonard Daniel and Arlene Romaine (Peterman) Gehling. Gloria last worked as a nursing assistant in Sumter, NC. She is survived by two sisters: Betty M. Parker, Littlestown, and Nancy F. Cave, Norway, SC; two brothers: Richard L. Gehling, Lancaster and John H. Gehling, Dover, PA and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Eckenrode in March 2010 and her infant daughter Rose Marie Gehling. Cremation services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg.
