Gregory L. Wright

Gregory L. Wright, 47 of Chambersburg, died Tuesday, July 17, 2012surrounded by loving family at Chambersburg Hospital. He was born Thursday, March 2, 1965 in Fontainebleau, France. He was the son of Carroll Lee and Shirley Ann (Miner) Wright of Chambersburg. Greg graduated from Chambersburg Area Senior High School in 1983. He was an ASE Certified Master Mechanic who worked at numerous auto dealerships before founding Wright Automotive in Mont Alto.He and his wife owned and operated Sunshine Hill Stables where together they bred, raised, trained and showed Quarter Horses. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and dirt track racing as a former car owner, sponsor and enthusiast. Greg was also the former equipment manager for the Chambersburg Cardinal's Football Team. He loved most his time spent with friends and family. In addition to his parents, Greg is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Diane Fay (Johnson) Wright; sisters LeAnn Wright and Connie L. (husband, Dwayne) Fickes, both of Chambersburg. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, July 28 at 2:30 PM at the Chambersburg Church of Christ, 230 South Third Street, Chambersburg with Reverend Charles Hill officiating.
