Guy M. Barbour

Guy M. Barbour, age 87, of Gettysburg, died Tuesday, January 26, 2010, at York Hospital. Guy was born Oct. 16, 1922 in Menallen Township. Adams County. a son of the late Charles M. and Naomi (Wert) Barbour. He was a former route driver for Penn Dairies for 14 years, also former driver for Gettier Bakery in Biglerville. He was employed by PennDot until his retirement after which he was a courier for Bank of Hanover. Guy was a member of York Springs United Methodist Church. He issurvived by his wife Imogene M. (Rank) Barbour to whom he was married for 69 years; two daughters, Donna R. and husband Greg Dixon of Biglerville, Deborah B. and husband Keith Shue of East Berlin; four sons, Larry E. and wife Nancy Barbour of Gettysburg, Barry L. and wife Margaret Barbour of Gettysburg, Gary L. and wife Diane Barbour of Biglerville, Randy G. and wife Theresa Barbour of Gardners; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sisters Mary Miller and Margaret E. Lobaugh. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville,where the family will receive friends from 1 PM to 2 PM on Saturday, January 30, 2010. Funeral service will be at Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., Bendersville at 2PM Saturday, January 30, 2010. Reverend Kevin Locker will officiate. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery in Arendtsville.
