Guy W. Taylor

Guy W. Taylor, age 65 of Aspers, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2015 at his home. He was born Friday, January 20, 1950 in Menallen Township, Adams County, the son of the late Ralph E. and Sarah C. (Black) Taylor. Guy graduated from Biglerville High School in 1968. He owned and operated Taylor's Service Station on Carlisle Road for many years. He retired from Dr. Pepper/Snapple in Aspers. He was a member of Ira E. Lady American Legion Post 262 in Biglerville, C and A Hunting Camp, and Sinnamahoning Sportsman's Club, Shoshonean Rod and Gun Club. Guy was also a life member of the Bendersville Fire Company. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Barbara J. (Hess) Taylor. He is also survived by one daughter, Andrea Taylor of Aspers, two sons, Robert (Bobby) Taylor and companion Julie Thompson of Hanover, William and wife Sandra Taylor of Aspers, step-sons Brian and Holly King, Matthew King, and step-daughter Marcia King all of Biglerville, seven grandchildren, Courtney, Gavin and Mikayla Taylor, Liam Avery, Dorian and Allison King and Mason Stiffler, four sisters, Marvel Butler, Mary Lou and husband Melvin Shultz, Ruth and husband Eddie Brandt all of Aspers, Linda and husband William McCleaf of Biglerville, seven brothers, Eugene (Ben) and wife Jenny Taylor of Chambersburg, Freddy Taylor of Phoenix, AZ, Jesse and wife Carolyn Taylor of Aspers, Roger Taylor of Aspers, Clyde and wife Suzie Taylor of Bendersville, David and wife Donna Taylor of Aspers and sister-in-law Debra Taylor. He was preceded in death by brother Randy and twin brother Earl. Cremation services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. At Guy's request there will be no services.
