Guy W. Lobaugh, age 85, of Aspers died Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at his home. He was born Tuesday, October 7, 1924 in Gardners the son of the late Charles F. and Hattie (Hamilton) Lobaugh. Guy founded and operated the family dairy farm as well asbeing employed by York Springs Farm Supply as a plumber for many years. He was a lifetime member of Upper Bermudian Lutheran Church. He served on church council and the property committee of the church.He was a longtime member of the Pa. Farm Bureau. He was awarded an Honorary Keystone degree from the Pennsylvania FFA.He served on the Tyrone Township planning commission for many years. His wife of 52 years, Blanche E. (Sowers) Lobaugh died in 2003.He is survived by threedaughters: Linda L. and husband Gary Leer, York Springs, Fay E. and husband Joseph Sheeley, Gardners, Kay L.and husband Roger Bupp, Gardners, two sons: Vincent W.and wife Jenni Lobaugh, Aspers, Dean G. and wife Michelle Lobaugh, Aspers,andhis sister: Elsie Wire, East Berlin,twobrothers: Adam F. Lobaugh, Aspers, andMelvin Lobaugh, South Windsor, CT; and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death byhis brother, Raymond Lobaugh and five sisters, Florence Mentzer, Pearl Melhorn, Ethel Herman, Irene Wire and Grace Kemper. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, October 1, at the Upper Bermudian Lutheran Church, 185 Ground Oak Church Road, Gardners with the Rev. Kenneth G. Swick officiating.Interment will be in Upper Bermudian Church Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Friday at the church from 12:00 noon until time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Upper Bermudian Lutheran Church, 185 Ground Oak Church Road, Gardners, PA 17324 or AseraCare Hospice, 44 Bowman Road, York, PA 17408.
