Harold D. Dugan

Harold D. Dugan, age 74 of Aspers, died Thursday, February 14, 2013 at his home. He was born Friday, September 23, 1938 in Gettysburg, the son of the late Clyde H. and Myrtle R. (McCadden) Dugan. Harold attended Biglerville High School before enlisting in the US Army Reserves. Harold owned and operated Dugan's Barber Shop in Biglerville for almost 50 years. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Jean M. (Hartzel) Dugan. He is also survived by a daughter, Karen M. Showers and companion Donald Swartz of Aspers; three grandchildren: Kayla Showers, Ashley Showers and Travis Swartz; and one sister, Jean Group of Gardners. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 18 at Dugan Funeral Home with Reverend John Winckler officiating. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Monday from 1:00 PM until time of services.
