Harold "Joe" W. Beltz

Harold W. "Joe" Beltz, age 91 of Newburg, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Chambersburg Hospital. He was born Monday, June 14, 1926 in Newburg, the son of the late Joseph C. and Nettie (Wright) Beltz. Joe was a self-employed mechanic and handyman for many years. He is survived by his wife, Shirley (Seville) Beltz. He is also survived by seven daughters, Mary A. O'donel of Doylesburg, Nettie Fritz of Pleasant Hall, Martha Burgenstock of Waynesboro, Esther Clark of Newburg, Betty Beltz of Shippensburg, Nancy High of Waynesboro, Penny Ellen Auville of Linwood, VA, three sons, Carl W. Beltz of Saint Thomas, Kenneth Beltz of Shippensburg, Rick Beltz of Chambersburg, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Mabel Debour and his brothers and sisters. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, June 23 at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg. Interment will be in the Mongul Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the funeral home from 10:30 AM until time of services.
